Action Bronson was not happy about Complex’s 2025 Best Sneakers (So Far) list. In a recent video, Bronson reacted to being placed at the bottom of the Top 10 for his New Balance 1906R collab, while the top spot went to the Air Jordan Brick by Brick shoe made in partnership with pro BMX rider Nigel Sylvester.
When asked about his position on the list, Bronson didn’t hold back: “F*ck Jordan,” he said. While he didn’t go into full detail, you can tell he thought they didn’t deserve first place.
His 1906R drop, which featured signature bold colors and his “Baklava” branding, was one of the most talked-about New Balances this year. Between the hype, sellout status, and cult following Bronson’s developed in the sneaker space, some fans probably expected him to place higher.
Meanwhile, Complex gave the number one slot to Jordan Brand’s Brick by Brick, a redesign inspired by Sylvester’s BMX background.
