Lil Uzi Vert just dropped off a pair of custom Vans at a bus stop in New York City. The hand-drawn Old Skools were left outside the Vans store on Fifth Ave, and within 20 minutes, a random fan had picked them up.
The pair featured a worn-in, skated look with red heart graphics, handwritten messages across the insoles, and “LIL UZI VERT WAS HERE” scribbled on the side. One insole reads “I’m really MOGGED,” while the other says “I woke up and realized we exist @ the same time.”
What’s interesting about this pair is the detailing, which matches previous hints that Lil Uzi Vert shared about an upcoming Vans collab.
Back in May, Uzi teased a new shoe drop with the cryptic message: “My own shoe they say… Tr@shCan Vans On The Way!” He also posted a screenshot of a text convo that mentioned a “white on white check” pattern with “white suede”, exactly like the pair left in NYC.
While Vans and Lil Uzi Vert haven’t officially confirmed a collaboration, expect something big to be announced soon.
