But not everyone was on board with the take.
Shortly after the post started circulating online, Washington Wizards forward Kyle Kuzma shared it to his Instagram story, respectfully disagreeing with Lil Yachty.
“No diss to both of these fly guys,” Kuzma wrote, “but we gotta stop calling mfs fly when 90% of y’all just wear Chrome Hearts,” followed by thumbs down emojis.
The comment appears to call out athletes and rappers who mainly wear Chrome Hearts instead of having their own personal style. While Shai is regularly praised for his outfits, Kuzma’s reaction appears to be calling for more originality.
