Lil Uzi Vert is the latest artist to join the Labubu wave. In recent Instagram Stories, the rapper showed off a collection of the popular plush toys clipped to his mohair Chrome Hearts bag. The dolls were also seen dangling from the bag while Uzi posed next to his custom, one-of-a-kind drop top Rolls-Royce.
Uzi’s fit included orange stacked pants, a striped rainbow hoodie, and a pair of Nike x VLONE Air Force 1s. In his Instagram story, he doubled down on the look, writing “I swear I’m not chopped.”
Labubu, created by artist Kasing Lung, has gone viral for its unique and cute appearance. The dolls have become highly sought after in fashion and collectible circles, recently appearing in collaborations with brands like Sacai.
Just this month, one rare Sacai x Labubu x Carhartt WIP doll auctioned for over $30,000, signaling just how deep the craze is running.
With co-signs like Lil Uzi Vert, it’s clear Labubu isn’t slowing down anytime soon.
