Nike has appointed Aaron Cain as the new CEO of Converse, marking a major leadership shift at the iconic sneaker brand. Cain steps into the role after Scott Uzzell, who is moving into a new leadership position within Nike.
Cain has been with Nike since 2006, most recently serving as VP of the company’s Global Men’s division. Over the years, he’s led several business units across the Nike portfolio, including APLA (Asia Pacific and Latin America), Global Categories, and North America.

In an internal memo, Nike said Cain’s “deep understanding of the brand, global experience, and consumer insight” made him the right choice to lead Converse into its next chapter. The move signals Nike’s ongoing effort to sharpen its focus and growth strategies across its own brands.
Cain will officially take over on July 15.
