During a recent trip to Cannes, Hot 97’s Peter Rosenberg publicly criticized Kanye West right outside of a Louis Vuitton store. Rosenberg shared a clip on X (formerly Twitter), calling Ye “such a failure” as he walked outside of the luxury boutique.

In the now viral clip Rosenberg said, “Kanye has to live with the fact that he called himself the Louis Vuitton Don. And Pharrell is literally now the Louis Vuitton Don… Kanye is disappointing people everywhere. … Low life Jew hating piece of shit.”
He contrasted this with the legacies of Louis Vuitton’s current creative director Pharrell Williams and the late Virgil Abloh, both credited with shaping the brand’s modern cultural relevance.
A proud Jewish voice in media, Rosenberg’s critique is part of a broader criticism following Kanye’s antisemitic statements in 2022 and 2023, comments that led to broken partnerships and widespread disapproval.
Kanye West has not responded to Rosenberg at the time of this writing.
