Pharrell Launches New Brand & Creative Label, VIRGINIA

Pharrell has officially introduced VIRGINIA, a new platform and creative identity that will serve as a hub for his future projects across music, fashion, design, and community. The initiative will host live events, limited-edition merchandise, music releases, early access to collaborations, and more.

“Virginia is where I’m from, but it’s also who I am creatively,” Pharrell said. “It’s my space to dream, and a way to connect with people who are dreaming too.”

According to an official release, VIRGINIA functions as both a pseudonym and a playground for experimentation, storytelling, and direct connection with fans.

The launch includes the brand’s first range of merchandise: apparel, swimwear, surfboards, beach gear, home goods, and accessories featuring the VIRGINIA logo. The collection is available through Blackyachtrock.com, which also debuts with a takeover by Virginia-based artist Sam Clayman and even features a virtual karaoke game.

Pharrell has also tied VIRGINIA to his 2024 anonymous release BLACK YACHT ROCK VOL 1 CITY OF LIMITLESS ACCESS, officially claiming it as the first musical project under the new banner. The album introduced his “Black yacht rock” sound, blending Black musical traditions with personal storytelling.

In addition, Pharrell’s latest adidas design, the VIRGINIA Adistar Jellyfish, will be released exclusively through the platform before its global launch later this month.
