Nigerian-born artist Olaolu Slawn just teamed up with Hugo and VCARB (Visa Cash App RB) to unveil a one-of-a-kind Formula 1 car ahead of the British Grand Prix.
Slawn’s signature graffiti style is shown across the custom-built VCARB 01 race car, making it one of the most eye-catching designs in the paddock. The car features distorted smiley faces, hand-scrawled graphics, and a bold “HUGO” wordmark that wraps around the body. A matching custom helmet was also designed for driver Yuki Tsunoda.

This isn’t Slawn’s first brush with motorsport. He’s previously worked with brands like Off-White, and now, he’s stepping into the F1 world as one of the first artists to ever customize an actual car for race weekend. The collaboration bridges luxury fashion, racing, and underground art culture in a way few others have done.

The car will debut publicly at the 2025 British Grand Prix, bringing Slawn’s raw, London-based creativity to Silverstone’s international stage.
