A gate agent at the airport is going viral after a video surfaced showing her online shopping while on the job. The clip, posted on TikTok by Triceyb2, shows the employee scrolling through what appears to be an online clothing store as passengers wait in the terminal.
The video, captioned “Gate agent said ‘lemme get this dress real quick,’” has racked up millions of views and sparked a mix of reactions. Some users criticized the employee for being unprofessional, while others defended her, saying everyone deserves a break during a long shift.
“She’s doing what I do at my desk job, just at an airport,” one comment read. Another added, “As long as the flight’s on time, let her shop.”
Southwest Airlines hasn’t made a public statement, and it’s unclear if any disciplinary action has been taken.
