Sterling Ruby’s S.R. STUDIO LA. CA. and Vans OTW have unveiled their latest project, the Future Clog.

Inspired by Ruby’s time in the Netherlands, where wooden clogs were a daily staple, the Future Clog reimagines that shape into an oversized, asymmetrical slip-on that blends tradition with futurism.
The shoe releases in three colorways: all-white, marbled yellow, and black. Each pair comes with a removable, washable liner, adding functionality to the art-driven design.

The Future Clog is built as a two-in-one system. The molded TPU shell works on its own as a sculptural slip-on, while inside is a minimal mule that can be worn separately.
“I fondly remember my grandfather wearing clogs while working in his shop… I wanted to honor the tradition of Dutch clogs while pushing them into the future,” Ruby said.

This collaboration marks a departure from earlier S.R. Studio x Vans releases, which gave archival models like the Old Skool and Authentic Ruby’s signature marble and splatter prints. Known for crossing fine art, fashion, and sculpture, Ruby continues his theme of distortion and reinvention with this drop.
While a green pair has surfaced on Vans’ social channels, only three colorways are officially confirmed.
