Uniqlo is launching a nostalgic capsule that celebrates the 30‑year legacy of Toy Story. The collaboration enlists Japanese graphic artist Kosuke Kawamura, known for his collage-style reinterpretations of classic graphics. Kawamura draws from early Toy Story marketing materials to craft vintage-like designs.
The collection centers on T‑shirts displaying iconic characters like Woody and Buzz Lightyear rendered with Kawamura’s signature style. His work deconstructs and layers imagery to evoke nostalgia while keeping each piece modern and wearable.

This release is scheduled in two phases: Japan and other Asian markets will see it drop on June 30 online, while the U.S. release follows on July 28, available both in stores and online.
