A new lawsuit has revealed just how much Supreme was paying pro skater Tyshawn Jones to wear the brand. According to court filings obtained by GQ, Jones was making $83,333.33 a month under a deal that required him to wear a Supreme top, bottom, and underwear every day.

Jones, now 26, has been tied to Supreme since he was 13 years old. He filed the lawsuit earlier this year after being dropped by the brand in late 2024. Jones claims the termination was a breach of contract, as his exclusivity deal was still active when Supreme cut ties.

Supreme’s endorsement made Tyshawn Jones one of the most well-paid skaters, pulling in just under $1 million a year for wearing the brand daily. But the lawsuit now puts a spotlight on how far brands are willing to go in locking in cultural figures, and how fragile those agreements can become once business tensions rise.
Supreme argues that the Tyshawn Jones breached his contract by modeling for a NIGO x Marc Jacobs x Superman collab. More details will be emerging as the lawsuit moves forward.
