A woman was arrested after attacking Drake’s OVO store in New York City on Tuesday, August 26. Video from the scene shows her using a hammer to smash several of the store’s windows.
Police say she also tried to set the building on fire. Despite the chaos, people walking by didn’t seem to react. The woman eventually walked out of the store wearing pants and a bra before being stopped by NYPD officers.
She was handcuffed, her bag was searched, and she was taken into custody. The NYPD confirmed she has been charged with criminal mischief and attempted arson.
The OVO store first opened in 2016. So far, Drake hasn’t commented on the incident, and police have not released a motive.
